George and the Dragon

This carving is carved in Lime/Linden wood its  236mm high x 166mm wide x 38mm thick, and finished with sanding sealer and then with finishing oil.   
I carved this carving with different finishing textures some parts like the horses skin have been sanded smooth whilst other parts like the dragons skin or the horses hair have been left with a tooled finish, i also used punches to give a textured look on the blanket on the horses back.
